I have a linksys WRT120N router and was able to connect to router, but did not have UMA status. I changed the router settings to run in Wireless-G mode only and it connected with UMA right away, haven’t had any problems since.

Just use a higher security than WEP.

i have the same problem, but im an exchange student in switzerland and i just arrived, the router is Netgear, but i dont know how to —> “configuration changes: switch to Channel 11, set Mode to b and g, and turn off WEP. Bingo, the Blackberry connected and rolled right over to UMA mode. It was great but I’m not comfortable in leaving my wireless network unsecured.”

Yes, my updated the firmware for the router WNR2000 and did a hard reset of the BB. I just bought the BB less than a week ago so it should have the latest software. :’(

Have you tried to update the router and BB software.
